Fate and Faith
"What is this earth and sea of which I have seen so much, whence is it produced, and what I am, and all the other creatures, wild and tame, human and brutal, whence are we?"
-Robinson Crusoe
This book is turning out a lot better than I expected it to and I’ve got a few more hours to complete it before my very intimidating lecture starts…
Get back to work!!!

I am absolutely disgusted with the way some educators behave and think. How can you write a student off, the very student you are supposed help?
Anyone who knows me well enough knows that the only grudge I hold against people is their constant need to classify/ label/ stereotype people. It’s especially saddening when all this starts at a very young age. I also don’t know when people are going to get that there is nothing wrong at all for someone to be in a normal stream. It doesn’t mean we are any less competent than anyone else. It just means we need a little more time and what the hell’s wrong with that?
Let me at this point add that there is nothing wrong with going to an ITE. They are as smart and sometimes even smarter than anyone else. I have a cousin who was from the technical stream and now in the ITE and trust me when I say his grasp of English and the way he speaks is FANTASTIC{better than us sometimes..}
I got a lot more to say but I best stop here.
RANDOM
Nothing beats watching Thalapathi{the best Indian movie ever} on a lazy Saturday afternoon…I hate aravind swamy for taking shobi : ) away from the hero…

happy feet
I FINALLY GOT MY MODULES {does the happy dance}
This bidding system really has the potential to rile a perfectly sane person up. So anyway this sem these are modules I intend to do..
Reading Film and Cultural Texts
The Eighteenth Century literature
Contemporary Social Issues in Singapore
Nation-Building in Singapore
Bahasa Indonesia 1
I really wanted to do the Malay module but the exam dates were clashing and I refuse to patronise any European language, at least for now.. {Evil laughter}
My holidays have sadly come to an end. But for the first time, I have no qualms or regrets of how I’ve spent it. I got to see and experience Korea, spent some excellent with my family and relatives {heaps fun}, watched some good movies and had most importantly had a lot of “me” time: )
So all in all I had a wickedly good time..
All the 21st birthday invitations have started coming my way. And I have already told my mom very assertively at that, I do not wish to have one. I got nothing against celebrating it my 2 brothers had theirs; I just got my own reasons for not wanting to. Besides ,I hate getting all the attention : )
